Kim Kardashian has confirmed she’s pregnant with baby number two after months of fertility treatment with husband Kanye West.
After a recent episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, North West’s mum admitted she was overjoyed to be expecting again after undergoing various types of fertility treatment to conceive a sibling for North West.
However, Kim isn’t the only famous face to have had IVF – in vitro fertilization – to help her fall pregnant as celebrities including Celine Dion and Emma Thompson, have also been through the same process.
Here’s their journey:
Nick Cannon and his then wife tragically suffered a miscarriage before they underwent IVF and successfully conceived their adorable twins, Monroe and Moroccan.
Daughter Coco with ex-husband David Arquette was conceived via the fertility treatment after the Friends actress suffered several miscarriages.
Rod Stewart and his wife tried to fall pregnant for two years before Penny eventually tested out some treatments in the UK and America. Their second son Aiden was born in February 2011.
The Moulin Rouge actress was refreshingly open about her journey to have daughter Sunday Rose. In an interview, Nicole honestly said: “I had tried and failed and failed and failed.
“I’ve had an ectopic pregnancy, miscarriages and I’ve had fertility treatments. I’ve done all the stuff you can possibly do to try get pregnant.”
When she did welcome her daughter, she lovingly detailed: “It’s the miracle of my life. All of my kids are highlights of my life.”
Despite her Sex and the City character not wanting children, the case was the exact opposite for this actress and husband Matthew Broderick. However, for this 50 year old, IVF was not as successful as she would have hoped.
Instead Jessica and her beau extended their family with the use of a surrogate who proudly delivered twin girls, Marion and Tabitha.
