The embryologist will then freeze the embryo and wait for the test results.

Genetic testing is usually completed within one day of the embryo biopsy, which allows for a timely embryo transfer. During this step, chromosomes are inspected for genetic abnormalities.

After the egg has been fertilized, embryos are transferred into a fluid that allows them to develop for several days. On day three, the healthy embryos should have developed into eight cells.

Once your physician creates your plan of care, you will meet with a financial coordinator. The coordinator will review with you a summary of the health benefits obtained from your insurance provider. Your Reproductive Endocrinologist will consider all factors and develop a comprehensive plan of care, also known as your treatment plan. The plan includes the recommendations for treatment from the physician and allows your financial coordinator to create an accurate quotation once you meet.
