The Baby’s Birth Was a Life-Changing Experience
The surrogacy journey is a life changing experience for all parties involved. From the surrogate to the Intended Parents to the Agency. A baby’s birth is always special.
I haven’t had the experience of delivering a baby myself yet so when I had the opportunity to manage a surrogacy case, and experience my first surrogacy delivery, I was beyond excited. My first delivery experience was with our surrogate who gave surrogate births twins by C-Section.
The Intended Parent’s travel plans did not work out exactly as planned when the babies decided to come one day prior to their arrival. I was so happy to be able to meet them at the hospital the following day and to help them unite with their new babies. The feelings of joy and love that was felt by all had a huge impact on me, one that I will never forget.
The key contributing factor to that wonderful outcome was good communication and trust between all parties involved. The IP’s put all of their trust into both the surrogate, who is carrying their babies, and the agency, that is supporting their surrogate and ensuring that she is following all medical protocols. It takes a great deal of attention and dedication throughout the entire process to make the experience a successful and rewarding one.
It was just so exciting and satisfying to finally have an opportunity to witness IPs getting their babies to hold and love unconditionally from the moment they arrive. I would say this is one of the most exhilarating experiences of my life. I love bringing happiness to people, and I love that my job at RSMC allows me to do that daily.
